Spring meltwater feeds the streams around Choman, and the waterfalls run fullest from April to June. The resort can point you to the nearest falls or arrange a guide for the longer trail. On the drive up you also pass Gali Ali Beg and Bekhal, the region's best-known waterfalls.

The resort arranges 4x4 transport and drivers for trips deeper into the Choman mountains — towards the high pastures, the Halgurd–Sakran area and Haji Omaran near the border. Routes depend on the season and the state of the tracks; ask when you book.

Short walks around the meadow and river need no guide. For ridge routes and longer hikes, ask the resort to arrange a local guide — trails are not waymarked and the weather can turn quickly.

Are activities included in the stay?

Walking, the fire pits and the meadow are yours throughout the stay. Guided hikes and 4x4 trips are arranged on request — ask the resort about the cost when you book.
